Yes they are initially going to use Centrus to provide HALEU, this was stated some time back and I posted that!
They certainly haven't thrown the bathwater out like you suggested, BUT to my way of thinking they have thrown the baby out only (GLE), to me it seems logical that they no longer needed us, that is like I have been saying for some time, they have found another way and to me it seems to be a combination or electro chemical separation, but that still leaves the nasty actinides to deal with, logic tells me that transmutation comes in here?
Am I the only one who see's this as a possibility as to what has happened? Surely not?
