Fat Prophets (to which I subscribe) should be known as Thin Prophets.
They backed VRE all the time until just before it was placed into administration. I think there was at least one or two others that failed and were backed by FP.
They have pushed AND, MUN, and DIO (and one other which I can not recall but it is a former failed mine).
MUN and AND are worth following (I do not hold either).
FP were great when the market was rising, but very average in 2007 and 2008.
There is a lack of analysis in their reports, which are mainly descriptive. You can get the same info from the company websites. You need to always do your own reserach on the goldies, which is not easy.
