I doubt whether TTY management are capable of announcing good news, must be the best downrampers in the business.
OMH is being hammered with the manganese ore prices at present and must be desperate for a few extra dollars.
At least the Northern Territory News is positive for TTY.
Territory Resources iron ore shipment to China increasing
Tuesday, 07 Apr 2009
It is reported that Territory Resources is increasing its shipments of iron ore to China.
As per report, the company had expected to export 1.5 million tonnes of ore a year from the Frances Creek mine near Pine Creek. But it has upped that to 2 million tonnes. More than 70,000 tonnes was loaded on to a ship at East Arm Wharf recently.
Mr Chris Burns trade minister of Northern Territory said the iron ore exports supported 112 jobs.
Terry O'Connor manager of Darwin Port Corporation said that the wharf was being expanded to meet demand, with nearly USD 60 million spent on a bulk loader and land reclamation.
The NT Government has asked the Federal Government for more than USD 200 million toward the USD 360 million cost of wharf expansion.
