daytrade diaries... tuesday, page-264

OK. It's was a lousy day for me in terms of risk taking and gave back about 1 days profit. It felt like a yoyo all day and I should have left it to just scalp but Alas, lesson to learn...

Anyway here are my trades:

MGX: Bought a little yesterday and sold out: Slight loss
DYL: Sold out at almost the same price I bought at. Slight Loss
BLY: Profit to cover most of the mornings losses. Infact I was up!
MDT: Sold at the open. Loss
PNN: Illiquid and got stopped out. Loss
KZL: I didn't like my entry so it was just commission. Good trade.
PSA: Bought @ close yesrterday so I got stopped out! Lesson for Illiquid stocks. Buy small, widen stops
TAM & OGC: Gold play due to interest rate cuts but I was impatient so I got out with slight losses. Again needed smaller positions
MGX: Towards the end. Should have been a scalp but I wasn't watching. So it cost me a small amount of that lesson.


That's it for the day. Plenty of sideways action, I should have either played small and nimble or stayed out completely.

All and all, plenty of lessons but a few good trades saved me from making a bigger one.
