Agreed. We all have our strategies.

And this comment from @EWexplorer really resonates for me and is also my key learning :
that's why I believe the critical thing is to make your winners big winners and cut your losses early

I dabble in newbies that show promise. Some skin in the game, albeit small, tends to focus one's efforts to fully understand a company.
Once I have gone "big" and have established a position, I quarantine an amount for CGT advantage ( 40% - 60 % of position ) and trade the remainder.

But, the real delight, comes from the positive reinforcement ( aka " smugness " ) that comes with picking a winner that the market had woefully undervalued. Almost more satisfying than the financial reward that follows. And helps erase the pain of those that you didn't exit from quite early enough !!

RAC is also in my top four Missing Dr T on this forum, I was learning so much and building confidence & knowledge on BioTech through his insightful contributions, but @wombat777 certainly helps fill the gap.
