My MRS is swedish and we recently had her friends over for a holiday.

They have a 1 year old daughter.

When they go back to Sweden, he was going to stay home and look after the little one while the MRS went to work.

They have this ruling over in Sweden.....each parent gets I think its 6 months (full pay) to stay at home for 6 months with their child.

So mum (I think she actually gets the first 12 months)paid leave to stay at home then dad can take the next 6 months at home fully paid at normal pay rates while mum goes back to work.
