Firstly, yes time will tell. This is just my opinion.
My fundamental problem with MSB and Covid is that I just think it is not cost effective. Yes, the treatment may shorten hospital stay. So assuming MSB does shorten hospital time, a saving, even if you include the expensive treatment. But the real problem is that you have to start the treatment early otherwise it is not effective. This means you must treat people (with the expensive treatments) before they become really sick. And we don’t know who will become really sick.
This means you have to treat people who will not become really sick. This is where it doesn’t work. Because you have to treat loads of people at high cost and the savings only occur if you shorten hospital stay for the very few who would have needed lengthy hospital treatment.
Better returns for your medical spend with other treatments which are cheep and proven.
