The theories on trading activity and rigging/manipulation has blown my mind the last few weeks.
& the confidence in people's assessment that this is pure market rigging is unbelievable.
Fact is, you cannot know one bit if this is market manipulation or just buyers wanting to sell their shares for their own individual reasons.
it is all pure speculation!
Do you really think investors out there, the majority, are that dumb, that if they see their stock falling only slightly after a nice run up that they would decide they better get out quick?
Do you really think the average investor sits there and checks the buy and sell volume and makes investment decisions based on that?
I mean, are you kidding me??? nobody does that
My opinion, is that holders are looking for excuses on why the share price is not still rising, or, so bored that they are actually paying attention to how many units there are to buy and sell.
Remember, there are 974 million shares issued for BOT, that is a lot.
The so called market manipulator has roughly 6m shares for sale, thats about half of one percent, or 750k worth.
& as I have mentioned in previous posts, that is a huge risk strategy, to put "fake orders" out, to try and scare dumb investors into selling, when news, whispers or an institutional investor could land at any second and take them all off the table.
If this technology of BOT is the real deal, I'm sure there would be a few big investors that would happily take up these sell orders.
The point I'm making here is, stop with the rubbish innuendo on market manipulation because it's more than likely false.
Some poster mentioned the short selling in this stock has not really taken off, so perhaps these orders you see are short sellers hoping to catch a bid and take the opposite side to all of us.
I have a position in BOT as well and very much look forward to the trial results, but, I'm keeping very reserved, as this company has a long way to go still, and, antimicrobial is the 3rd asset in line for BOT, behind the acne and dermatitis formulas. SO the dream of a $1 share price requires all 3 to be a success, not just this one.
Finally, I want to keep things in check for those over enthusiasts, by reminding that there was a recent university study completed into CBD and BAC, as a combination therapy to treat staph and the like, and the results of that very extensive study was that they could not prove a mechanism of action.
MSB - Mesoblast is a recent example, that were pounded by the market for not being able to explain the mechanism of action.
In this industry, you need a lot of luck on your side to generate the right formula at the right time to treat the right diseases when they are needed most, while being up against low levels of competition. Biotech is one of if not the hardest industry to excel at.
