@watsoAn experiment ... 3 days ago I used 500g of mince to make a batch of savoury mince that was probably 60-70% vegetable ... including an onion, cabbage shredded, a large parsnip diced, 2 carrots diced, 3 large celery stalks diced, can of crushed tomatoes, stock cube and seasoning.
First night Mrs Dex and I each had 3 taco shells with the mince mixed with some Mexican spice , topped with some lettuce, diced tomato, sour cream and a sprinkle of fresh Parmesan.
Next night we each had a decent bowl of spag bol.
Last meal for two will be a lasagna plus salad.
Six adult meaty meals with 500g of mince.
Easy peasy ... spare cash is also getting out of control after 3 weeks of northern beaches home lock down.
