That's a very good point Anth72...if you look at the statements made by KIK in relation to their JVP and the SC54 shallows going forward, ie into EPT late 09 early 10, this is exactly a project where NDO could fly solo with their 60% as operator.

If this were the case, funds would be a bit short re the timing because of Galocs "slow start" and the PoO.
The next phase of the shallows is quoted at US$26M...NDO would need about AU$22M for their share, with the acquisition of long lead items happening very soon.

If you also consider that perhaps they expected to have farmed out by now and have been in a totally different position, maybe they see this as the quickest way forward for the co.
