Prof. Borje: "There were also two patients who were allowed to enter the treatment with active disease with CNS involvement: one with eye involvement and one with leptomeningeal or central nervous system involvement, both of them achieved a partial remission."

These are AML metasteses, not diseases of the CNS like Parkinsons Disease. But the partial responses do suggest that bisantrene may cross the blood-brain barrier.
