Ann: Pause in Trading, page-45

Guys, no wonder they copped a price and volume query.

Here was the background as I saw it:

• occasional abnormal trading since late October ... including some very high volume days (one lot concerningly before disappointing drilling results), and many piddly trades that appeared to be trying to drive prices down - e.g. as posted here Post #: 49793962. Was this a sign of someone trying to get set??
• that even has triggered comments here on HC, including the thread that I started, not knowing what was coming,
• that unprecedented >9 million order in one hit just 2 days ago that I posted about here Post #: 49986899. Here it was:

• then, 2 days later on Friday, in 34 mins of frantic trading -> 58.6 million shares sold at a rate of 1.7million shares / minute at VWAP of 1.3281, a 27.27% increase. I'll try and post all trades later - am in a hurry....

I've been analysing them and won't go into my comments at this stage but make no mistake, there's something going on here. One fascinating possibility is that Helix may not have any idea about it - yet - but they should find out when the substantial shareholder notice gets lodged (at 5%) assuming the buyer(s) comply with the law ...
