It will be interesting to see where they place the lower (or upper) reservior. Downstream is Deongwar State Forest, will have a hard (long) time getting approvals to flood part of that. Upstream they could use Lake Perserverence, it's 160m higher and only 9km between the dam wall of each as the crow flies. That would avoid state forest but definitely be a long pipe run. I can't find any detail, which makes me think they are very early in the project.
