Telstra’s dividend is critical to its share price. Imo, if Telstra can maintain its current gross dividend of $0.21 (net $0.16), the gross yield is around 7%. It is hard to find such attractive yield in the current market. Hence, my guess is share price will go higher once investors realise that this boring company is a hidden gem. Income from term deposits is below 1% pa.
