In July 2018, bad news on guidance was accompanied by the following comfort statement: "The result was primarily a function of the cyclical downswing in Infrastructure and an
underperforming European operation. Though the result is disappointing, the fundamentals
of the business remain sound with stronger licence growth anticipated for the new financial
year. "

So where is the comfort statement in the recent guidance updates? What does that omission infer?

IMO from this omission alone, you would have to give higher odds to the future business prospects being different now to what was in the past.
