I'll try and console myself by looking at the increasing copper price and the large amount of valuable reserves we have in the DRC = maybe one day soon BT & his crew will again get their act together but they must have lost a lot of valuable operational employees by closing down all their operations in Q4/Q1.
I would also expect that the last of the write-downs will occur in Q1 and then hopefully we can trade at break-even for the rest of 2009.
I think BT will take the $200 million as quickly as possible in whatever form he can get it but remembering he's never liked debt funding.
PS Are you going to the Orchard Tavern tonight for a game of APL poker - maybe we can spot some good looking Asian ladies to take my mind off these more mundane matters!!
