Seals , i'm not good at "if's" iv'e been burnt too many times (saying if this happens or that happens.)
All i know is i first brought into BON @ .08c after Meob results, they gave good insight into what we could expect from sandpiper , so i carefully started taking out any BON @ .04c when the chance came along so i'm loaded up average .047c then out of left field comes MAK offer, at first i'm thinking good move , but now with no news from sandpiper and no word as to how MAK will deal with UCL i have to wonder what the motive is for common directors of BON/MAK and why did MAK take this path when they seem to have so much on their plate to get through with it's NT projects?
I have to agree with you seals , i think the better deal was to keep UCL/BON working towards their own offtake deals and their own timeline.
IMO all this MAK offer has achieved is to confuse and disrupt the flow and time frames of both company's projects and set share holders of both company's into a frenzy of speculation and doubt.
In closing i would like to say my main reason for buying into BON is because i have an understanding of dredging operations , my father worked on floating cranes for an iron sands dredging operation in NZ for years, i have nothing against MAK and see them (or saw them ) as a great investment, but looking for a solid long term investment with ground floor access and new dredging technology i saw BON as my (and my kids) future money tree.
My eldest stepson is starting work in the next few months and buying parcels of BON was going to be his first investment in his future.
I apologize for my ramble and for any comments that may offend , but that's my thoughts on the subject and i'm not too impressed ATM with either company and the common directors , they have left a lot of unanswered questions and should really be keeping the market fully informed as to every aspect of this deal eg: UCL & sandpiper!
