I'm sure the democrats will be stupid enough to proceed with a trial when they gain control of the Senate.
If, and it's a big if, the Senate does convict, then it's certain it will end up in the scotus.
I don't believe it will stand up, but I've also been wrong many times before!
Interesting times ahead.
One thing Mitch's statement does confirm is there will be no senate trial before Trump leaves office.
