Cortex M Today coupled with Akida IP (which is our SoC) means renasas cortex M microcontrollers with Akida IP can do what an Ethos N or Cortex can do and half the price, lower latency, lower power and probably more AI there is only one technology jump to Akida IP.

I suspect the speed Renasas signed up means they have already had it in an FPGA and are ready to go to market.

Integrating Akida into their Integrated Development Environment helps explain the 2 years software support service contract which had me perplexed as to Why. Getting drivers for all potential implementations.

If the first project delivers this will be very very disruptive in terms of use cases as renasas has a whole ecosystem of designers and developers (engineers) using renasas microcontrollers in their products/projects.

This beats researcher ecosystems and puts Ai in the hands of engineers something PVDM has been very big on and renasus opens up a whole ecosystem of them.

This is something that has troubled me in the past of how to get traction commercially BRN leaves enough profit on the table for these engineers and companies just clips the ticket for a small amoutn on the way through.
