The question of funding ... is interesting.

The problem is no banks around the world have 3 billion to out lay or invest in a capital project that not in the form of a guarantee bond.

In the past the bank would package the loan in a high yield, junk or any other form of bond that was not guarantee and sell this off to other bank. (you can read more into this but that is a very basic explanation).

This is not happening currently and I don’t think it will start to happen for the next 6 months due to the GFC. (not Geelong football club)
