"Under the agreements the only fee payable by Cellmid to either of the consultants will be a success fee on completion of the sale or partneringof the midkine asset portfolio."(My emphasis)

This tells me the consultation fees are not related to the sale (or partnering) of Lyramid. The above is from the 2020 announcement - which is clearly not commensurate with the latest announcement. If it does relate to things Lyramid, then shareholders have just been duped!

In my view, these Appendix 2A statements should have a section where the "announcing" Company MUST also include the entity receiving the shares in lieu of cash. As Leverage intimates, the lack of transparency is a problem, for obvious reasons - and the Board of CDY are not immune in that respect.

Pharma - I get your point, but the builder (or similar) analogy is not really relevant to this CDY announcement. A consultant providing the above service is not the same as a builder asking for a down payment/deposit to build a house. Do we pay the dentist before he/she has provided their service, or taxes before we have done the graft and been paid for it? Happy to argue this point but don't see the need.

My earlier "scandalous" comment is motivated by this consultant pre-pricing his/her/their "future" service at circa $157k - but now, thanks to our Board, they have the ability to double, triple, quadruple their income (especially if that consultant is close to "holding the levers"). And who are paying the price in the meantime...(as he shakes his head in disbelief)???

What about the other employees? Bloody outrageous.
