Early days on reviewing AX1, but from my perspective - the management team and board have done a stand up job with the business during CIV-19!
For a business with such a retail - touch and feel focus, the fact that they have adapted in such a manner and shown excellent development of processes working forward just re-enforces how much of a miss me not seeing this last April is... IMO unlikely to ever touch there again.
Agree that bonusses paid and JobKeeper income take some shine off their performance... it views as a bit of a tax payer funded lurk, if that was all that you looked at. But again, it appears to me that they were not idle during shut down, far from it - so IMO the rewards reflect the effort... the subsidies are just AX1 taking entitlements that were also offered to every other Australian based business.
Can't say I have heard much noise from other company shareholders about their executive bonuses and jobkeeper subsidies.
