Starman, i agree , on the surface it would seem that this would be the case, with that in mind one would think that this offer is madness, but,and this is a big BUT has anyone seen the sandpiper results, they could be extraordinary !
If i was to take a guess UCL is not coming to the battle without some ammo i would bet it was the announcement yesterday of their intention to renew their sandpiper leases and the backing of a major party interested in those results.
I would take a closer look at UCL ann yesterday, it points to a very favourable deal in the wings for the sandpiper leases.
Of course this is just my speculation on the matter so i could well be wrong.
