I have to go out but that is interesting because Professor Iliadis co inventor of the spiking neural network cyber security algorithm use by BRN is actually a NATO advisor and former military man if you can be such a thing under Greek law. I just cannot remember his name which is poor form on my part. But if you have a look at him and his work on secure communication systems for warfighters to use the US terminology it seems inexplicable that edge computing solutions are being ignored. Perhaps they are just not being spoken about in public.
