I suspect Australia has had its head in the sand with energy management ie. power grid updates / energy sources / overseas companies buying out Aust. based energy businesses & being profit driven to the detriment of providing a secure long term energy mix - too many players without a clear over-arching mechanism (Govt. direction = future expectation/objectives) to all work towards a viable transition to renewable, low carbon emission environment. Happy for others to offer alternate views!

Politics / Profits / pressure groups / indecision / short-termism have all had a role in this - just perhaps the 6 month current review on energy will light the path?

Regardless, CPV technology appears to provide a catalyst in accelerating the move to renewables!
