G'day...
you asked (on another thread, I think) so here's the answer...
NO loud guffaws of laughter from anyone, please...

The gap up and frenetic rise this morning left me feeling VERY nervous.
I could FEEL the pull-back coming, but couldn't gauge when it would start or how sudden or deep it might be.
So I GOT READY. Had a browser tab open, pre-loaded with a SELL order.

Then the drop started and it went down so fast I couldn't adjust my sell price fast enough to keep up with it.
Then my browser froze.
Then I lost internet connection.
Then Suncorp Sharetrade threw me a series of frustrating error messages.
Eventually I had no option but to shut down, reboot, re-establish my internet connection, and TRY to start again.
When I eventually got back on I found to my horror that a SELL order for 130,00 shares at 0.80 had actually gone through.
By this time the price was back up to 0.83 and hasn't come down since.
It's cold comfort that I now have $104,000 in my trading account that I have no immediate use for
because I would RATHER have the 130,000 shares in my portfolio, which are already worth $5,000 more than I accidentally sold them for.

Did I feel bad a fortnight ago?
Today I want to go out into the backyard and just dig a hole and bury myself.
So much for being prepared...
So much for being conservative and taking small nibbles at the cheese...

Do as I say, but DON'T do as I do...
