Agreed ! - Despite being a gold producer since 2007, still no dividend insight ... except for BOD and senior staff who have received "industry standard" rich salary packages + remuneration bonuses (equivalent to giving a well paid pilot a bonus for landing plane). Endless chatter about SLR being "undervalued" a TO target or more likely engaging in selective M&A etc, the reality for B class shareholders (i.e. normal, non employees) is SLR (and the vast majority of goldmines) is not dissimilar to Bitcoin (a ponzi scheme), and unless you trade the stock you're a mug. Even gold stocks that pay a dividend, its generally so small as to not cover inflation, opportunity cost nor gold price volatility ..... case in point SAR ... not selling when 25% above current SP, will take a decade to recoup that loss ... all the things being equal.
