Macquarie may have security of the shares for the loan, but, its not ownership. Ownership of the shares would only pass when the loan was defaulted. This is not at all plausible... and if it defaulted, we would know, as he would have to notify the asx.
Macquarie cant lend out shares they do not own. Period.
