you still have to be offered the opportunity to partake - usually by your broker ! For God's sake there are many thousands of people who meet the Corps Act requirements for sophisticated/wholesale investor status. Doesn't mean you get a look in every offering. That's not how it works. And a lot of them are shite anyway. I suspect ACR may be in that category - but not sure.
