You're talking about how the risk is brought up but happily ignoring the downplaying and vitriol that was aimed at everyone who referenced it to the point of death threats. PL literally said he doesn't want to hear it and sees it as a threat to his investment today.
You keep bringing up that figure but once again are refusing to look at the other side of the coin because it doesn't suit your narrative. The revenue is meaningless without a clear idea of operational costs. That is basic bookkeeping. Sure $8m sounds nice but there's a reason the price went to the 9's and immediately regressed to 7's once people digested what was there. It was because about 70% of the subscriber fees were from the annual subs the Crowd1'ers (where did the rest of their 12m go?) pumped into it at launch while the rest were on a monthly or quarterly model.
Translation is that 70% of that 8m will evaporate next quarter.
Now we move to how much of that $8m they'll be entitled to: the reason? Taxes, ongoing costs, and related fees will undoubtedly change this $8m figure and then once all adjustments are made and the net revenue is determined then EM1 will pocket a portion. Will these be ongoing costs that will be repeated even if revenue for the next quarter drops by up to 70% because there won't be as many annual subscribers? Will costs go up as the rollout is "expanded" meaning a bigger chunk for Crowd1 to garnish?
We don't know. Those are material and very realistic concerns which will start adding up each 4C and all of a sudden that $8m seems very vulnerable with all of this lurking over it. And this is why the $8m announcement was a short lived bubble that barely made it to a week.
And this goes back to one of my previous posts: do you think the rest of the market are morons for considering this and other reasons for taking the $8m announcement with a grain of salt? Do you think the rampers here are the only ones that can see the long term rockets here and the evil downrampers really do have an agenda?
Apparently "$8m 120k block the noise count the money" is more aesthetically appealing to you and others.
