explain that although you have been with(bank)for .......(length of time)and have no grievance with the(bank)u have decided to shop around for a better rate due to the current economic climate and more competitive rates in the marketplace.
Your favoured choice is to stay (same bank) however u feel the need to reevaluate your current postion.
Please if you could look at my current situation and provide me with your best rate possible within the next 7 days and to discusss my situation further that would be teriffic.
