well, my long term goal, once my useless stocks turn around, and are worth millions, is to buy WES shares, and get the fully franked dividends, which will then allow me to take a income from the shares tax free, ie: $50,000 divi 100% franked, should allow me a tax free income of about 150,000 if I have the franking worked out right. I have yet to talk to the accountant about this.
Any advice about how the franked dividends are applied to taxable income would be greatly appreciated.
