Thanks for that @wenty![]()
Also, a very interesting development today regarding Lynas (ASX:LYC - plus 2 other exchanges) - they're collaborating with the USA for a Rare Earth plant in Texas.
Disclaimer:- this is not cross-promotion in any way and dyor by checking the facts - cheers.
There is an outside possibility that the ESS s/p rise over the past few days could have something to do with this as LYC will be processing their Lithium in Kalgoorlie initially and 'finishing it off' in the new plant in Texas.
Now, considering that ESS' mining for Lithium is at Dome North (100% ESS) AND its only 130km south of Kal, who better than Lynas to have their ears pricked up and eyes wide open to monitor ESS' progress (or lack of) at Dome North ?? If their own supplies need a boost for export to Texas in the future, there's a chance they might consider throwing a few bucks at Dome North for even a small percentage ownership.
ESS do like having partnerships after all BUT they'd have to avoid being trapped into yet another scenario of 'until a decision to mine' would be made.
Just a bit of pie-in-the-sky thinking and this would be at least a year away (or maybe sooner) and of course there would be other projects for LYC to look at but at least the US are happy to get their Li supplies from a company on our doorstep...
DYOR, cheers, AE
