They won't equalise anytime soon but there's no reason zip couldn't parley it's nz au no 2/3 position into a number 2/3 position globally if they are a bit more unified in branding and focused on having 1/2 products and don't get side tracked too much outside Australia with business loans etc. Afterpay is going to be King but the land available to grab is endless. there's plenty for every good company that can scale beyond 20m customers.
And I say all that as a holder of both stocks. Zip is like a very beaten down stock with lots of room to recover. it won't take much. One big signing in USA...
