Mate it seems you have a very bad understanding of business loans, I have more than ten years of lending experience to small business and I always felt misuse of funds was the main drawback while lending to them, monitoring is practically impossible because of the small amounts involved. BNPL type products just solves all the issues bankers had throughout ages. Look at the numbers they can turnover it’s amazing.
If the BNPL do not innovate and enter into new products and services they will not be able to create a moat in the long run. First mover advantage moat will not last forever, have a read on the topic product development life cycle.
