There needs to be a plan, Hitman. I'd be surprised if one can source a new ICE car by 2030, so yes a plan is required to get charging stations happening now. I doubt that base load power will be a problem, given most will charge during off-peak. And with the uptake of roof solar and home battery storage grid-load will become a mute point.
