as per ASIC regulations, do mining companies have to notify the market when they lodge a mining application? The reason i ask is because the UMC management seem very careful to keep expectations to a minimum :) which i personally like..

so the question is would they have mentioned it and tagged a tonnage next to it without having the good word about the granting of the licence?
