Thanks @ozbucheron, that's a strong rational argument as to likely limitations to the historic mine.

Sellars at 38m - that is indeed wide. And no, the existing intercepts don't look likely to infer similar widths in the conductors.

You reference deep holes by Union, WMC and CRAE. My understanding is that the drilling was fairly limited by these parties. What is the greatest depth that you are aware of there?

Looking at the previous model you included, my speculation is that somewhere below all the separate lodes was a system that fed it. I'm thinking it may look like the pink lines I've added to your diagram with the lodes historically trending to the west. It seems to me, with the extent of the known supergene lodes, it's feasible that there is an intact primary ore body beneath it all remaining from whatever was the original magmatic event.

The width of Sellars at 38m (again, nice!) suggests, to my very amateurish geology, that the original system that weathered and concentrated down to Sellars might have been quite large, implying a forceful source beneath. (Or the country rock was highly porous). With the maturity of exploration in Australia these days it's all about depth and, maybe, that's the answer for Cangai. Mind you, with the trend I'm speculating, if indeed forceful, perhaps a primary lode, if it exists, is somewhere off to the west and become greenfields = challenging. Realistically though, it's hard to see CCZ doing anything about Cangai for at least 2021, blue sky potential is greater at Mt Oxide and Zambia.
