I think I remember seeing Mado in the Amazon and Facebook forums a decade ago calling everyone who was smart enough to see those businesses developing into world beaters also calling them cult members because they didn't make money at that stage. They disappeared from the world never to be seen again, didn't they.
Look up 'Survivor Bias' to see how stupid your argument is. Nobody could have anticipated how successful they would be - or whether they would even survive.
CSL was considered a dog when it listed in 1993. It tanked ~75% in 2002 and took another 4 years to recover.
