Novartis and others know that amongst the broken rubble of the failed trials possibility awaits. A major biotech with the means, systems, scientific excellence and the drive will be able to reconstruct from the rubble products that work and can be approved by the regulators. It seems to me they will wait until this company has run itself further into the ground and then make their move.
