share your tips on day trading..., page-18

Hi guys, im quite new here and always learning. What tips do you guys have for the newbie re following momentum and how you tell when a stock will kick on up or will drift down.
Yesterday I bought into PNO at 13c it then closed at 11c. Watched it go to 17c today (thought or PRR) as it drifted down, should have taken profit or stopped out at 12c, 11c, 10c .....but kept waiting for a bounce. Well this is what new guys do and this is where all you guys get your money from.
Reason I did this is I bought Prr at 1.6c watched it go to 4 back to 3 push on past 7 then 11 and now back to 5.8.
