I doubt they would though. They would be looking to get something organised so they don't have to fork out the cash. Don't be surprised if they let them expire and new ones are issued - the new ones when the company is sold will be paid out by the purchaser at what ever value. This is exactly what shouldn't occur but is what in most probability will occur.
In a previous post I said there would be an announcement in May with regard the options - thinking more of it I think the above is more likely.
