Probably a little off subject, but can you imagine if we entered this recession in deficit or without such a large surplus as howard and costello left. What a predicament Australia would be in now. Who's to say a labour government in the good times couldn't have done the same though.Has this surplus just been blown though?? Did my eye's deceive me the other night when Swanny congratulated Costello and Howard? Must of been dreaming surely.
