I think you are over interpreting what I said. Go back to my post and read the words I have written. You have elaborated with your own personal interpretation - not mine.
My point is valid, in that looking at depth long after close provides some indication of the residual interest. If you don't accept that, then that's fine. I will work with it as it has worked very well for me as part of my investment decisions in the past.
