In other words, they will count the votes before the meeting and if the result is the result they hope for, the votes will count. If they don't get the result they had hoped for using the shareholders votes, they will only include the votes of the pirates.
That way they get what they want and might just be able to claim they respected the wishes of shareholders.

I will submit a worthless protest vote just so FH can't take credit for something they haven't done - represent shareholders.
