Rather than give more airtime to the insufferables I thought I'd post my notes from the meeting. How many fabs do wewant to be partnered with by end of 21
- Answered by Coby
- Don’t want topartner with multiple fabs too early
- Partnering with multiple fabs is too heavy on resources and inefficient
- We need to choosejust 1 that is the best fit- maybe 2
Is the delay totransfer to fab a problem for commercial deals?
- Answered by Coby
- Not an issue.
- Coby spent a lot of time on how we are fab ready which felt a little hollow
Fab transfer
- Answered by Coby
- Customer or contractor
- Fab will help with adaptation of the tech in the fab so a bit further R&D
- Some things need to be done in the production fab
- Then qualification phase- fab runs the tech through tests to make sure it is completely ready for mass production
- Then offer to customers
- All of the above will likely take a year or so
- Simultaneously WBT will also offer to companies to fit it into their products. This process is already under way with multiple potential customers
- Fabs will license the technology from WBT
Market share
3 components
- Embedded
- Discrete- memory IP and product- selling components
- Had to take a work call so missed the 3rd
Selector
- Standalone memories need much larger arrays
- Smaller geometries- below 28nm to be competitive
- Gigabit
- Know how to deal with these problems but take time
- 2024
Conservativetimeline for cash flow and potential raise
- 2022
Addressable market
As above I had to take a call for work halfway through the meeting and so missed a lot from about 35 minutes in onwards. Please feel free to continue this thread with more notes.
p.s. apologies to Coby for catching a screengrab mid conversation. That's always rough
