Without the benefit of schematics I can only surmise that the much heralded “break through” from 8 level to 7 level is a 100 foot rise that two miners on single shift should accomplish in two weeks. Hardly momentous development work and given that the waste remained underground in voids it’s hardly a reason for no mill feed. But, then again, we had further plant upgrades - must be almost a new mill!!
