What is in the research labs right now will be commercially available in 5-10 years at scale. And even then it will not displace the old types. The market will simply expand and different use cases with different price sensitivities will be served by different technologies. The demand for battery materials will be insane and will go beyond most of current forecasts. Paid off factories for legacy tech of the finest kind will be utilized happily for decades to come. That being said, Talga is fast tracking their next gen products (compound solid state anode). I don't think there is any reason to be worried, to the contrary.
