Is there still a failure to read the annual and quarterly and realise that PLS reports in terms of DMT and cost base includes all costs at PLS end? WMT is included in the reporting but NOT in terms of the tonnage shipped, the income received, nor in respect of the production costs. If, for example production costs were reported in terms of WMT, they’d be significantly less than the $351 reported for last quarter as the divisor in the equation would be a larger number.

I think maybe some other companies did report that way making it look like they had lower production costs and greater profit (you know, report costs per WMT to get a smaller number and sale price per DMT to get a larger number and thus indicate a significant profit).

BUT PLS reports are not written on that basis!

Amazing - oh well, so long as everyone else takes the time to read the actual report and see that the smoke and mirrors going on is ill informed it won’t matter for anyone else.
