i worked in chicken farms but not as bad as pigs i reckon. But your right really it is all animals - thats why people are vegetarian.
I think all people should be vegetarian unless they need to eat meat for survival/health (e.g. small island communities etc). Most of us live in cities with decent incomes to buy complete vegetarian meals - so the only real reason to eat meat is for the taste/flavor. Personally I am not comfortable with killing an animal just for my taste/flavor. Others may be but would be many less if they actually had to deal with the death/killing.
